The Northwest and West chapters of the Construction Specifer's Institute (CSI) are holding a joint conference at the Seattle Sheraton hotel in less than a month. If you haven't already registered, follow the links on this blog. Registration is still open, with discounts for CSI members.
There are a wide range of educational topics available - all are AIA-registered and some will even provide GCBI learning credits as well. CBA has arranged for Hager Companies' Product & Sales Training Manager, Jana Carlisle, to provide an ADA Accessibility talk, and Oregon Door's Tim Cox, Director of Sales & Marketing and Chief Sustainability Officer, will be giving a talk about EPDs, HPDs, and the other "alphabet soup" you'll run into in LEED v.7.
This conference will be a great way to network with fellow specifiers, check out changes in the industry, and learn more about a wide variety of topics, ranging from sustainability, technology, to Northwest- and West-specific building issues.
We hope to see you there!
